Saw it in a parking lot. Not sure if the 2 extra wheels are modifications.

It's a Honda Goldwing, I believe the trike modification is aftermarket.

Some sort of Honda cruiser. In other words, something that I would never ever ride.

That’s what I thought, you can’t see it in the pic but there is a 4th wheel in the usual bike place.

Standard Honda Goldwing with an aftermarket set of training wheels. Seen a few of them rolling around. Pretty much a conversion to make it a trike without completely modifying it and removing the original rear wheel.

Extra two wheels? Did it used to be a unicycle?

You don’t have to remove the rear wheel off a Gold Wing when converting to a trike...
But it does make fitting the differential easier.

No, there is a 4th wheel where one would normally be on a bike, its just not visible in the pic (my bad)

It’s a GL1800 Goldwing with a bolt on “trike” kit. The original rear wheel is still there, though, and it’s the only driven wheel. The “trike” wheels are just outriggers - basically serving the same function as training wheels on a bicycle.

Do you think the extra wheels are powered? Or do you think they were basically really fancy training wheels?

Can confirm. Original rear wheel is the only one that is powered. 2 outside wheels are just like training wheels. This is most likely just a much cheaper solution that fitting an axle in place of the back wheel and all the body work that would have to cover it all.

so the outside ones are just stabilizers then? that has to be weird to drive/ride
